I think there is no deer but something in foreground. It was already called a lump and a groundhog and a bad photo but nobody really caught it yet. =)

But what is that grey object at the front right tree? Is that a groundhog or something?

I had to translate what a groundhog is but no it’s not such a guy, although it was there every morning.^^
Well.. if it is bigger than a squirrel… nearly invisible… something we could almost stumble over.. and about 12 feet or 4 meters away…
Will we be having venison for dinner?

Welcome on board! I think that’s just a leaf. The food in this picture is bigger than a squirrel. :)

If I have a sturdy string or small rope, I could probably snare something. Rabbit, squirrel or bird of some kind. I sure hope I’d have something to start a fire, and a good knife to gut/skin whatever I caught, because raw unprepared meat is really not my thing!

Looks like I wouldn’t be lasting long, because I can’t find a thing!
Best I got is that grey object behind the tree in the middle of the foreground, could be the tail end of an animal, or just a rock.

Hmm. I don’t see any berries or animals(other than that weird grey lump). I do see some kind of moss covered object in the left foreground though. There seems to be something else growing on it as well — an edible fungus perhaps?

That thing on the left covered with moss and mold I will not eat. Not even if Vrayna snares and prepares it.^^

Yeah I’m honestly at a bit of a loss then, guess I wasn’t cut out to live in the wild! Are there mushrooms somewhere I’m not spotting?
Could still be that grey lump behind the tree on the right hand side. Can’t tell what animal it is, but it looks like it might be one.

Sorry, no mushrooms here in January. That lump was there every morning when I came along this forest road, exactly in this position. The photo is from about 4 meters and it was still convinced to be invisible. Did not see him anymore since then, maybe because of me.. annoying humans with their phones.^^

I may be seeing things. Just to the right of the center, almost to the double trees, I think I see what looks like a hunter. On the left side, there are two trees one leaning to the right a little on the left and a straight tall one on the right. Further back I think I see what looks like the head of an animal. Deer, Elk not sure. I am getting old and my vision is not what it used to be. I could be way off base.
