YEAR 65-69
the town built a post office and an old dairy. i like the function of this building even thou it looks out of place. it produces cream, cheese, and butter all at the same time without changing the output. a CC meat locker will store the items in the hill.a large chapel and school were needed.
a beekeeper will keep the apple orchard pollinated. a pasture was fenced along the east stream. we won’t have to haul water for them.they will raise pigs that were traded for. the 4th farm also dug a root cellar. they planted 2 gardens.
the 3rd forest has a gathering hut and hunter.they will keep the sawmill village well fed.

YEAR 70 REVIEW
population tp 176 in 41 houses. it has gotten much busier. the last founder lived to be 88. we have 3 schools and 3 churches. the 3rd forest with a sawmill kept everyone well stocked with firewood. our gardens function within the limits and we have expanded the farms. a dairy, butcher, and jam shop were built in the village. they even have a tavern to make cider. the village hasa post office, coffeehouse, and a store to sell odds n ends.
we have acquired some more seeds.
goals: we do need more vegetable fields. even with the population growth, the gardens produce well enough that we should only need 1 or 2 new farms this decade. the bannies will have to work to keep everyone busy as the village expands. the bannies produce all that they need so they don’t need to import much with the trade posts.
we should increase by at least 50 bannies. that is 10 more food workers. 2 fields,a garden, and a fishering pier.and bout 5 new processors. so bout half the new workers that should graduate. what can we find for the other 10 to do? a market for each of the forest villages. still leaves 8. doubling the builders to 4, we will need to find work for 6 more bannies. we will need to build 1 houses each year.

YEAR 70-71
we start clearing land for a veggy farm. 2 builders were hired. they will work on new roads.the veggy farm will grow and sort vegetables.
1000 flour was traded for. the village built a bakery.a tailor nearby will improve our clothing outputs.
pic 1:tailor and bakery
pic 2: veggy farm
YEAR 72-73
markets are needed to move supplies to and from the forests. these should help move more supplies from the barns and increase some production. the village needed a 2nd butcher to process pork. they then started building EB’s leather chain. we don’t need the trade good ,but this will use up salt and excess leather.
a merchant did bring oat seeds.
pic 1:east forest market
pic 2: north forest market
pic 3:butcher
pic 4:leather chain
YEAR 74-75
the village added a pie bakery and a food market.to make the pies, the bannies need seed oil processed from walnuts.this and the leather chain used up the extra workers for this decade.
now that we have oat seed, a grain farm was started. it will mill the oats into flour.
pic 1:food market
pic 2:pie bakery
pic 3: grain farm
YEAR 76-77
we have added over 5 processors, the leather chain,a tailor,2 markets ,and increased the builders to 4. 22 bannies have graduated and all but 2 have been gievn new jobs.
we have built 1 house each year. we have grown fast enuf to be behind 6 houses.
we will need more logs to keep all these houses stocked with firewood. now we can start stretching the map. a stone bridge will give us more access farther south.
we do have an issue that i can not seem to solve. the veggy sorting stations are storing all kinds of stuff and the workers have yet to sort any vegetables. i tried rebuilding, reclaimed after emptying, raised food limits.etc. the bannies won’t eat the veggies without them being sorted. the 2 fields are switched to tomato and sugar beets. only thing i can think of is the 1st field was planted on a plantation field instead of a crop field. i did that to keep them from the food limit at harvest time. that must have changed the flag enuf that the veggies can’t be processed. the unused veggys were sent to the trade post.

YEAR 78-79
a gathering hut will work the forest.candles are needed for the miners. we have so much leather, more processors are needed.an EB ditch was dug to bring water closer for the women. a tobacco plantation has been established north of the grain farm.
the bannies have outgrown the schools. they decided on a culinary school to teach more bakers, butchers, and food preservation.

YEAR 80 REVIEW
population grew to 255. there are 121 workers and 54 students. housing is at 62 plus the barracks. we actually grew faster than expected. the village added 2 bakeries,a butcher, a tailor ,and a cullinary school. they also have an expanded leather chain to process the leather into saddles. a 4th forest increased our log outputs. vegetable production has improved and we also have oat flour. the dairy cows bred and multiplied
goals- the population should catch up to our food production. we figure to add 2 houses per year. the village will continue to expand south along the east side of the river. as the village grows into a small city, a building supply trade post will be needed to bring in more logs. the plan is to keep the west side of the map more rural. the southwest area will be forests.
the hardest challenge is keeping everyone working without over producing food.at the same time, we do want to process as much of the food as we can.

YEAR 80-81
to bring the logs,a RH building supply trade post was built. a Corn Crib saloon gives the merchants a place to quench their thirst and stay over night. the cullinary school has a tiny creamery, butcher, preservist,,and bakery.
the mine had to be dug deeper to find more salt and iron ore.and the tobacco plantation added a curing barn to dry the leaves.

YEAR 84-85
the grain farm planted a 2nd field of oats.2 more gardens were planted to increase our veggy outputs. a few of the shops hired apprentices to use up some of our extra workers. our cullinary school expanded. it now has a class in smoking venison.
2 smelters will smelt the gold and silver ores.a weaver works nearby to make rugs from the cured leather. the plan to build 2 houses a year has worked well. the hardest part is finding work for the bannies.many of the workplaces hit limits off and on throughout the year. we have plenty of supplies, food, and trade goods.

YEAR 86-87
we have increased to 20 laborers supplying 5 builders. a larger cemetary is fenced near the hospital. the town has grown and a tailor and sawmill are needed. a large livestock farm is established near the pig farm.
PIC 1:cemetary

YEAR 88-89
the schools are graduating more and more students lately. the plan to build 2 houses each year has worked until the last couple of years. we are now 10 houses behind the population growth.we also have twice as many laborers. even so, we are able to produce enough supplies and food that nobody needs anything.
we will need more logs. a 6th forest will cut trees in the far southwest.a gathering hut will work there to increase our vegetable outputs. 12 more houses are scattered throughout the map. a small Colonial chapel will tend to the bannies west of the river.
the workers continue hauling more stone for the town road and clearing more land for the livestock farm. it has a hay meadow, corn field, and oat field. there are pastures for beef and milk cows. the town added a meat dryer and a corner bakey to make more bread.

this map will go to year 100. as i am ahead of the postings, i want to drop a line real quick before i start the next map. if anyone wants to see something specific, please let me know.
YEAR 90 REVIEW
has it been 90 years? sure feels like a long time. i have been at this map for over 2 months.
population 372,192 working adults,48 students, and 132 children in 90 houses.we grew by about 65%. just in the last couple years, the pace has picked up quite a bit. we have a 3rd trading post to bring some building materials. a livestock farm was established. 2 forests work the southwest area of the map. the village has grown into a town. it has a hospital,2 taverns, and many small shophouses.
the bannies are so good at food production that we have way too many extra workers.many work the shops that don’t function as workplaces but do add much life to the town. a coffee shop, barber, deli, banks, post offices, flower shop, furniture, and several other shops to buy some goods. you can even rent a boat and purchase bait for fishing.
goals- i would like to finish this map. the goal was to fill it. much depends on how fast the students graduate and how rural the west side of the map remains. with food production being so high, i have plans to add more decorative fields and produce farms. some of the bannies have started building near the lake to the west already.

YEAR 90-91
we made several adjustments to send more goods to the trading posts. trading is bottlenecked since the bannies don’t need much. we have lots to ship but nothing to trade the items for. our plan is to split the pigs which will slow down the meat production farther. then increase the vegetable outputs. we also need another mill to support the many bakeries. over the decade ,i think we’ll need a rural school to the west and another chuch for the town.
an Amish family built a pig farm to the west. grain fields are plowed and a mill and grainary built to the east.we finished our 100th house, a candy store.

YEAR 92-93
we have lots of cleanup to do.the town grew to need a Colonial church, a 1 room schoolhouse was built for the children west of the river. the bannies built a Nordic infirmary to tend to all the young mothers.
the produce farm looks real good with the decorative bushes and vegetables.the veggy farm even has a RK greenhouse to grow fresh produce in the winter months.

YEAR 94-95
Sherbrooke houses have been built along the lake shore. the bannies there are busy buiding boats. the village has continued to grow. it added another butcher shop to make sausages and a ketchup factory.
a 2nd Amish farm grows more fruit to the northwest. the town has grown and needed another horse farm. the grain farm uses oxen to tend to the grain fields. since work as slowed due to the distance, we increased to 12 builders supplied by 48 laborers. housing is caught up and finally we used more food than produced.

YEAR 96-97
progress to the outer zones is slow. the bannies have started the cleanup of all the regrowth.the horse farm works to clear trees so more hay can grow. the south grain farm planted a 3rd field. the boat builders needed ropes and a Nordic wharehouse to move and store supplies.
i had to give the bannies time to catch up with them working so far out from center. even thou we are caught up on housing, we do expect a huge graduating class in the next couple years.

YEAR 98-99
i’m going to try and finish this map over the next 2 years. we need to balance the food production. tons of cleanup still needs to be finished.a coal and salt mine are also needed. we’ll build 8 more houses, taking us to 130 plus the barracks.we will still be short due to the large graduating class.
i’ll give you a lot of pics for a tour through the area.
