YEAR 59
we ran short on flax for the linen and the linseed oil for the shoes and short of salt for cured leather. our wharehouse stocks will be a tad short of our goals. the firebreak meadows in the north will extend along the lake. a church and school have been built for the east forest workers. a CC water mill grinds more flour to support a cookie bakery.

YEAR 60 END
population 1178, in 252 houses. thre are 9 churches and 9 teachers in 6 schools. the community’s isolation and quarantine tactics have paid off. there has been no deaths due to virus or other diseases. we have had accidents and lost mothers during child birth. it is common for these bannies to lilve past 80 before dying of old age. we are well stocked with both fresh and processed foods. we are very safe from forest fires with the conservation work of our forest and meadow workers.
i tried something at the end. i used the Debug tool to remove trees from the new meadows and the flowers from the farm and community areas. to me it makes it much easier to see the decorations and farmyard gardens.
RED had 1 issue with the RK CHOICE mods. the balance of fodder and flowers is off. the thatch grass dies off and doesn’t respawn and we end up with too many flowers. hopefully someday he will return to Banished and adjust it and make more mods. this goes with the give and take of using many mods. i can change the grass which will cut down on the flowers but lose the wild animals. KIDD made some start map mods that bring grass and some of the animals. they were primarily made for a prairie map, so the bison will go up and we drop the elk and bears. i’m not sure what else will be offset or changed. due to the memory limits of this computer, to add mods to change the grass will mean removing other mods.
what do you readers think?? you all have been way too quiet. some comments or feedback now and then would be appreciated. as would any ideas of something you might like to see or future map ideas.
