Norseman – Child turning laborer at 11 and a half

    I’m playing with Norseman, and child are supposed to turn into laborer at 10, but I’ve observed with multiple childs that they turn in a laborer at 11 and a half year. For example, Lyanna is born in october 30, and became an adult in july 42 (which is actually a little more than 11 and a half year).

    I have no school whatsoever (who got time for that when you have 8 adults anyway !), so it’s quite strange !

    Bonus question : “child bearing age < 45” means that both parents needs to be less than 45, right ?

    The right age for turning into a laborer is about 12 years. It was a mistake in mod page and is now corrected. It’s the same in Norseman and Ironman.

    The maximum age for births only affects the mother. And from my experience (in game), a man in the house is not even necessary for it. ;)

    I’ve been trying to make a 55 year old man move out of his house (he is living alone in it), there’s 2 house with single woman (aged 16 and 19), and he didn’t want to move at all (he prefered to stay homeless !), I wondered if it was because he’s too old to have a child :)

    Haha, your approach will not work. The guy is indeed a bit too old for these girls but not because of childbearing. There is a max range between ages for moving together and it’s set to 20 years in this mod. So the girls are looking for something younger to marry.
