    My blacksmith doesnt have the option to produce Steel

    It´s not only your blacksmith. If you want to produce steeltools, you need to buy steel.

    I just added a wiki page for Steel and updated related pages. Also we had a talk recently where we plan adding a medieval blast furnace for steel production.
