Stepstones bug?

    I’ve just started a new game, and my Bannies don’t seem to know there’s a set of stepstones to build. See the attached game file. I also tried placing other stepstones in a couple other places. While a Builder would get assigned to them, no one ever came over to add building materials or otherwise work on it.

    ETA: the save file is too large, so I can’t attach it, not even zipped.

    Are you sure, you have enough big boulder stones for the crossing? I´ve built several of these crossings and they worked just fine. One time however, I thought there was a bug, but in fact, I didn´t have all the 10 boulders needed for the crossing. The building menu is a bit odd and doesn´t show how many stones are brought. Maybe this is something you could change Tom.

    Thank you, Nilla! That appears to be the problem. I wasn’t distinguishing between stone and boulders, and so not noticing that I lacked boulders altogether.

    This can be fixed by adding a building time. Then the fording will not be finished by just carrying boulders to the stream and a builder will have to saw and hammer there which seems strange but we get a proper UI with required materials.

    I’ve increased max file size to 16 MB. Should be enough for saves now.

    I would like to have a correct builing menu, maby you can set the building time to 1.

    I’ve added a building time of 1 for a clear building UI and like it. Other objects with this issue are chopping block, charcoal pit and campfire. I tend to add it here too so no player has to be confused by it anymore.
