The Goathi is a primitive construction made from wood and turf of the surrounding area. Cheap and quickly to build, it is the first dwelling for surviving people in the North. Later and to become fully happy, people demand a proper house.

Tips and Tricks
Detraction removes one happiness effect of chapels, taverns etc.. If you don’t have such fancy things in early game, people don’t miss it and this drawback of primitive dwellings doesn’t matter.
The hardest starting conditions are almost impossible to survive without this native building.
